![]() Main Street Village is decent (and theres a promotion). The Kelvin Apartments is also nice and clean, not as exp as Residences and is away from Jamboree Rd so ot's quiet. Residences On Jamboree and Alton is new and clean, not cheap. If you have a higher budget and don't mind driving, the apartments around Diamond Jamboree are pretty! Newest ones are Murphy and Rize, Avalon phase 1 is cheaper but older, phase 2 is decent, phase 3 is very nice but rather expensive. The new housing looks nice from the outside and has the M and N line bus stops very close by (if Im not mistaken), that would be very convenient for me personally. I'd rather live at UTC or the surrounding places. VDC's parking is a lot better, but bus to school too.īut VDC Norte and/or VDC has lots of incidents (break-ins, attempted burglary, etc.) I wish I knew beforehand that if you live "on campus" you can't buy parking passes. Bus to engineering is the M line, so I either have to walk across campus or switch busses midway which is lowkey a hassle. Its great if your classes are near there (Paul Merage, or near Barclays) but I'm in Engineering and it's on the other side of the campus. The bus stops nearby are H, C and N lines but they all stop in front of UTC. I live at Camino del Sol, it's clean and decent but the parking is far (for me personally and I have knee injuries, it hurts to walk that distance daily). ![]() If you live "on campus", they wont allow you to purchase parking passes, and you'll have to take the bus.
